Profile Information

What do you hope to gain by joining Girlfriends EnTourAge Travel Club?: As a co-creator, I wanted to help create a space where inspiring women could meet to share their love for travel, adventure, friendship and life experiences.

What are some of the places you'd like to travel to (US and abroad)?: Paris, Milan, Venice, Rome, Madrid, Amsterdam, Belgium, London, Singapore, Belize ('cause they have some of the finest men on this planet), Ashevill, Louisville, Houston...lol and so many other places--including many destination spas!

Tell us a little about your fondest memory of an outing or vacation with a girlfriend.: Hmmm, there have been a few. Will think about it an answer this later.

How did you hear about the Girlfriends EnTourAge Travel Club network?: I co-created Girlfriends EnTourAge Travel Club with Roxanne Ravenel.

Travel Channel "GO"

I love gadgets: kitchen gadgets, household gadgets, etc. but my favorite gadgets are of the electronic variety. I found a really cool service on travelchannel.com called "GO" that will enhance one of my fav gadgets, my cellphone.

Open Minds Lead to Open Doors: A Tribute to My Best Friend

I recently had the opportunity to spend an entire day with my best friend. We attended a local psychic & health fair. I was a little reluctant at first to ask her to accompany me--thought she would be a little put off because of what I call "the woo-woo factor" but she surprised me and graciously accepted.

But when you visit Asheville---you have several lodging options: the biltmore hotel, any bed and breakfast, or the haywood park hotel in downtown. Downtown Asheville is very eclectic. It reminded me of NYC. The Biltmore is so beautiful; 4 or 5 floors of ridiculous oppulence. Be sure to pack your walking shoes.

I returned from D.C and VA 2 weeks ago and I'm now preparing for a Caribbean trip...got to facilitate some workshops at the universities there. Gosh, I always relish the beaches. You haven't seen a beach until you've basked and bathed in Grand Anse beach in Grenada...aaaaaawww.

I once gave one of my full length sequins gowns to a girlfriend who's zipper broke at the last minute. The only problem is she was about 6 inches shorter than me and had to spend the entire evening holding it up! hahahah
